ADE Green Sustainability Conference Returns

Returning for its fourth edition on 19th October, the conference will once again take over De Brakke Grond in Amsterdam for a day of creativity, practical workshops on sustainability, technological showcases and stories of change from across the music event industry.

ADE Green is an official sub-conference of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), presented by event promoter ID&T and ADE in collaboration with Julie's Bicycle (UK), the Green Music Initiative (DE), Green Events Nederland (NL) , and Open House (NL).Festivals provide an important stage for cultural ideas and innovative developments. Event organisers and artists are becoming more and more aware of the platform they have and the power to create change this gives them, and this is showing through the initiatives they support and the evolution of policies and production methods at festivals to embrace a more sustainable future. ADE Green brings together promoters, artists, suppliers, policymakers, thinkers, journalists, and more to amplify the industry’s movement towards sustainability and social change: from inspiration to practical action. At this year’s ADE Green, representatives from Roskilde (DK), India’s Longest Guest List (IN), DGTL (NL), Welcome to the Future Festival (NL), Boom Festival (PT) and Ieperfest (BE) will all share their experiences and plans on how they intend to take action for the future, with plenty more speakers to be announced: keep an eye on the event website.https://www.amsterdam-dance-event.nl/ade-green/ and https://www.facebook.com/events/318346145180979/
