Participants will set off on foot for a 1-hour scavenger hunt-styled cleanup in Westerpark. Join solo or as a group, all participants will be set into teams and will seek variable types of trash to earn points & prizes. The cleanup will then be followed by a happy hour with DJ sets performed by eco-warrior DJs Joep Mencke & Unders at Bar Kantoor. Last year’s event garnered over 80 participants from around the world who collectively removed 440 liters of waste by plastic fishing from the canals. Making this unique cleanup experience even more special, guests were entertained with live DJ sets played by Sam Feldt, SHARE, & Parallelle. Thursday 20th October - #PlasticFreeParty Compilation Launch @ The W Hotel: Bye Bye Plastic will cut the red ribbon on the release of their first #PlasticFreeParty Compilation, with a party hosted at the luxurious W Amsterdam in partnership with local event producers Levantine House.
