May the Ig be with you!

After the ground breaking BRITS album in 2009, four more new releases have been awarded the IG mark by Julies Bicycle, the cross music industry initiatuve on climate change. The IG mark recognises environmental good practice and all four albums have been packaged in card, which can reduce a CDs carbon footprint by up to 90%  compared with plastic jewel cases. The new releases are Seasick Steve's "The Man From Another Time", Nirvana's "Bleach", the special edition of Robbie Williams' "Reality Killed the Video Star" and Biffy Clyro's "Only Revolutions". For more details of the IG mark and a new paper comparing the carbon footprint of CD releases with digital downloads go to www.juliesbicycle.com. If you are buying albums - then look for the IG mark.
