CERTIFICATION

By gaining AGF’s A Greener Arena certification, arenas will be able to demonstrate independently verified green credentials to their visitors and stakeholders. The certification will help artists, promoters and clients identify green arenas more easily.

To attain the certification venues will demonstrate a commitment to supporting biodiversity, and reducing their organisations emissions and waste across the company’s operations, purchases and investment.

The venue assessment considers the organisation’s approach to key elements of environmental sustainability including energy, food & beverage, transport, waste management, water, plastics & packaging, social responsibility, as well as its policy and strategies for dealing with hazardous materials and reductions in CO2 emissions.

    • Supporting evidence, utilities & documentation provided by Arena to AGF Assessors.

    • Sustainability Impacts reviewed and scored - results are shared with Arena.

    • Use of dated AGF Greener Arena Logo.

    • If opted, results are promoted by AGF and shared on AGF social media.

    • If opted, Feedback Report with recommendations for improvement provided by AGF.

    •. If opted, Carbon Footprint Analysis report completed by AGF.

    • If opted, inclusion in league table and International AGF Awards.
