Karen Davies

Dr Karen Davies is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director in Events Management at Cardiff Metropolitan University and has a keen interest in EDI research in particular the topic of access to cultural activities for people with low income. Prior to her appointment at Cardiff Met, she worked in the Events Team in Swansea City Council and has also had extensive experience supervising student events and volunteering on festivals in various capacities. She was Vice Chair of the Association for Events Management Education for 3 years from 2021-2024 and sits on the editorial boards for two of the main academic journals in the Events Management field.
