AGF to host workshop at Major EVents Summit

Major Events International (MEI) is returning to Emirates, Old Trafford, Manchester for their Major Events Summit, on 1st November 2023.

MEI aims to inspire event organisers from sport, music and culture to run safer, better and more profitable events. A key component of this, is of course making sure these events are as sustainable as they can be.

At the summit, AGF will be hosting a workshop with leaders in the sustainability field, giving insight into how they are leading by example to harness their influence and to activate their community. Hosted by AGF CEO and co-founder Claire O’Neill, the panel includes, Dale Vince, Chairman of Forest Green Rovers FC, Artur Mendes - Co-Manager, Boom Festival, and Teresa Moore, AGF Director. Be it with sponsors, fans, governments or suppliers, we discuss navigating credible, authentic and impactful communication that is a world away from greenwash or green hush

The summit will also host panels on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Best Practice and Establishing a Green Events Code of Practice, and provides the perfect opportunity to network with peers, discuss challenges that you are facing and find that next idea that you can integrate into your next event.

As a festival, team, council or and other rights holding event organiser, there are complimentary passes for you to join us and MEI at The Events Summit at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester this November.
