By gaining AGF’s Greener Supplier certification, suppliers will be able to demonstrate independently verified green credentials to their customers. The certification will help events, venues, festivals and tours identify green suppliers more easily, and will reduce the time and resources required for both suppliers and clients in evidencing their green credentials*.

To attain the certification suppliers will demonstrate a commitment to environmental sustainability, and to reducing their organisations emissions and waste across their operations, and services. 

The supplier assessment will consider the organisation’s approach to key elements of environmental sustainability including energy, food & beverage, transport, waste management, water, plastics & packaging, social responsibility, as well as its policy and strategies for dealing with hazardous materials and reductions in CO2 emissions.

* Greener Supplier certification in no way replaces the due diligence and assessment against each client’s own procurements policies and procedures when assessing suitability of supplier for any said tender or contract.
