Congratulations to AGF Associate MHM Plant for their Green Apple Award!The ‘Green Site Power Package’ is a combination of solar panels and batteries, backed‐up by a diesel generator, to deliver low emission electricity to a construction site. The principal aim of ‘Green Site Power Package’ is to utilise the emission free battery power, with the diesel generator only operational when the battery levels are low and need a recharge."We are delighted to announce that we have had confirmation that our ‘Green Site Power Package’ has been awarded a 2020 Green Apple Award"To win this award, MHM had to submit an elaborate appraisal of the system, including the project aims and achievements, alongside a detailed description of how the ‘Green Site Power Package’ operates.MHM were invited to receive their award at a ceremony held at the Palace ofWestminster on 23rd November 2020.The Green Apple Awards are presented by the renowned environmental campaigners, the Green Organisation. Established in 1994, The Green Organisation is an independent, international, non‐profit, non‐political environment group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world.
