We've just announced some major updates to the agenda, and here they are..GEI Puts the Spotlight on Social in Greener EventsLove Support Unite FoundationDemonstrating that the work done in our industry goes far beyond its own borders to make a difference, Love Support Unite Foundation will present their outstanding mission with temporary event power specialists Firefly Clean Energy, to provide solar power to schools in Malawi. There will be further delving into the festival community’s response to the refugee crisis, and the role of the entertainment industry in making a stand on intrinsically politically charged social issues.Firefly Love Support UniteStretching the perspective of the conference further still, Jason Mayall of Fuji Rock Festival, Japan will be providing insight into what it takes for a festival in Japan to green itself and whether festival and event organisers in this region encounter the same issues and solutions as the rest of the world.The Hard to Swallow Necessities session will explore internal action and interaction between audience and organiser.
