Green Events & Innovations Conference 2018: The Full Agenda
Next Tuesday will see the 10th edition of the Green Events & Innovations Conference (GEI) take place. The event, which runs the day before ILMC at the Royal Garden Hotel in London, is organised by not-for-profit organisation A Greener Festival, and supported by ILMC, and tackles head on important environmental and social topics surrounding the events industry. The full agenda for GEI has now been published, and we are very lucky to have a stellar line-up of speakers, including representatives from Greenpeace, Roskilde Festival, Glastonbury, New Internationalist, Bestival, Surfdome, Watermills, Soil Association, Pohoda Festival, Resources Futures, and many more, awaiting delegates on 6 March. From poo to power, from waste to water, from activism to eco-currencies, and even a brand of beer that is brewed using salvaged bread, delegates can expect to have their minds boggled by innovation, and their spirits ignited by green experts and inspiring individuals who will present tried-and-tested solutions to common event management problems. If you organise or are involved with an event or festival and are concerned with waste, plastics, climate change, and sustainability, you can't afford to miss this event. To see the full agenda, click here. And if all that wasn’t enough, GEI delegates can expect their stomachs to be as equally satisfied as their brains, as the GEI registration price includes a five-star lunch, along with refreshments, networking opportunities, and a post-event drinks party supported by Toast Ale. The party will also consist of an awards ceremony in which A Greener Festival and Greener Event Award winners will officially receive their awards. This is set to be a very special event, not only celebrating ten years of GEI, but also 30 years of the event’s partners, ILMC.See the full agenda here.Tickets available here.Book accommodation here.GEI is kindly supported by Watermills, Toast Ale, Enviro-cup, Tuned In Travel, and ID&C.If you would like to support this event, email hello@agreenerfestival.com.Come and meet the panel at GEI10 and find out how you can green your event or festival.
