Maldives highlight sea level rises

The government of the Maldives is holding an official meeting underwater to highlight the threat of climate change.  The low-lying nation is one of those most at risk from rising sea levels and in attempt to flag up the issue, the cabinet planned to converse using divers' hand signals while President Mohamed Nasheed, a qualified diver,  is to sign a document calling for global cuts in carbon emissions. The President also plans to hold a press conference underwater following the meeting.
