Cara Webster-Whiteside brings over a decade of experience in the events industry, with a strong focus on ensuring safety and seamless operations. As the Managing Director of Previse Events, a health and safety consultancy for event organisers, Cara provides invaluable advice to ensure compliance with licences, robust health and safety measures, and effective crowd management strategies. In her role as Operations Director at Dot239, Cara oversees the provision of temporary CCTV and Wi-Fi solutions, leveraging her expertise in control room operations as a licensed SIA CCTV operative. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in her work on major events such as Battersea Park Fireworks, Hackney Carnival, Battersea Coronation Festival and Eurovision Screenings. Cara started her career working in the event departments for councils like Ealing, Richmond, and Wandsworth. Cara's experience on greenfield sites exposed to the elements has made her adept at handling various challenges. Previse Events, under her leadership, is known for never saying no but rather collaborating with clients to find innovative solutions. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Cara is driven by a deep passion for making events safe. She recognises the power of events to bring people together and, particularly in the aftermath of the pandemic, strives to offer solutions that make clients' visions come to life.
