Celebrate Earth Day with AGF: Greening Your Events for a Sustainable Tomorrow!
Happy Earth Day from the team at A Greener Future! As we honour our planet today, it's a perfect moment to reflect on how we can collectively contribute to a more sustainable future. BIODIVERSITY IMPACT ASSESSMENT
AGF is here to assist you in assessing, measuring and mitigating the potential impacts of your Festival or Event on the biodiversity of your site and in the surrounding area. This entails looking at the existing state of biodiversity at the location selected for the event, and assessing if there are any negative impacts to the biodiversity associated with the event that will need to be mitigated prior to the event taking place.
Additionally, we can help to identify whether there are any specific issues already facing the biodiversity in the area, and recommend actions that you can take to leave a positive and long lasting impact on the biodiversity and the local community after your event.
SUSTAINABILITY DIAGNOSIS
The sustainability diagnosis provides organisations, events and venues with a measure of their current sustainability performance, with recommendations for improvements.
The diagnosis includes a carbon footprint analysis with recommendations for emission reductions, as well as biodiversity and social impacts.
Based on the AGF Certification Framework, the Sustainability Diagnosis is the first step towards becoming certified to the AGF gold standard.
CO2 AND NET ZERO SERVICES
AGF provides Carbon Footprint and Net Zero Consulting: Understanding, Quantifying, and Reducing Your Carbon Emissions. Understanding the amount of GHG emitted as a result of your activities or the events you organise will enable you to measure your own impact and impact across the supply chain, identify key areas for improvement, and develop long term Net Zero and emissions reduction strategies
